Ever get that pesky blinking shutter speed indicator when you turn on your flash to shoot against a bright background? Here is how to overcome it and stop that blinking for good and get a good darkened background.

Notice the lower left image with the darker background also shows more detail in the background due to the increased F stop number. This is better known as an increased depth of field.
